VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
This year our VBS was held online July 6-10.
One of our greatest joys and passions is our Summer Vacation Bible School program.
Gathering, Music and Games: Live on Zoom each morning, at 10:00 a.m. See church friends and other adult leaders from church. This video will be available later as well, if your child is unable to participate live.
Bible Story: A child-friendly paraphrase of the Bible story, accessible for all ages, with imagining and wondering questions to connect more deeply with the story. Available as a recording to use any time that works for your family.
Create & Play: A fun mix of crafts and games throughout all five sessions to practice our compassion skills and have fun together. We will gather all supplies needed for pick-up at the church to make this as easy as possible. Home delivery available if pick-up is not possible.
Movement: Physical engagement to connect our minds, bodies, and spirits with God. We will focus on our breathing alongside some basic yoga poses connecting the main themes of Compassion Camp with our lives. Available as a recording to use any time that works for your family.
Compassion in Action: Our Compassion in Action activities help participants think creatively about sharing our compassion and love. These simple, small, tangible acts help us express God’s deep compassion for each other, ourselves, and the world.
Communal Art Project: Create art together while apart. Together we will work on a Mosaic Poster to reveal after camp.
