Andy, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, has been at Pleasant Hill since 2008. He graduated from Auburn University with a B.A. in Journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter for three years before attending Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur where he received a Masters of Divinity in 2005. Andy serves as the associate pastor for High School Youth & College Students, Mission & Outreach, and Communications & Media. He also enjoys being part of the PC(USA) through involvement with the Montreat Conference Center; over the years he has been a keynoter for the High School Youth Conference and on planning teams for the Middle School Youth Conference. Andy and his wife Elizabeth live in Lilburn with their young children, Katie and Davis. You can read his sermons and writings on his blog Georgia Preach.
Rev. Jody Andrade, Associate Pastor for Congregational Care (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Jody arrived at Pleasant Hill in 2014, several months after receiving a Masters of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary. She graduated from Lakeside High School here in Atlanta, received a B.A. in Economics from Wake Forest University, a Masters of Education from Georgia State University. Jody is the associate pastor for Congregational Care, in which she provides pastoral care for church members; leads fellowship activities for members and visitors to deepen their faith and connect with others, and helps people plug into the various ministries of the church. Jody and her husband Billy live in Atlanta and have two college-age children, Cameron and Grace.
Rev. Jennie Sankey, Associate Pastor for Christian Education and Middle School Youth (email@example.com)
Jennie arrived at Pleasant Hill in 2016. She serves as the associate pastor for Christian Education and Middle School Youth. A native Texan and lifelong Presbyterian, she attended Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA where she completed a BA with a double major in Music (oboe performance) and Christian Education in 2010. She moved to Georgia to work at the Calvin Center in Hampton before completing her Masters of Divinity at Columbia Theological Seminary in 2014. After a year of working together at Ghost Ranch in NM and Government Street Presbyterian in Mobile, AL, Jennie and her husband Steve moved back to the Atlanta area. They live in the Norcross with their dog, Bob.
